🏆 What Is the Summer Challenge?
The Apologies Are Useless Summer Challenge is a fun reading and acting competition designed to encourage teenagers to read, think creatively, and engage with the lessons and stories in Apologies Are Useless: The Teenage Edition.
Instead of simply reading the book, participants are invited to step into the story and recreate their favourite scene with a sibling, friend, or parent.
Your creativity could earn you ₦100,000 plus lots of other exciting prizes!
🎭 How to Participate
Taking part is simple.
1. 📖 BUY THE BOOK
Get your copy of Apologies Are Useless: The Teenage Edition from any of the participating platforms.
2. 👀 READ IT
Read the book thoroughly and discover the characters, situations, lessons, and conversations that make the story come alive.
3. 🎬 ACT OUT YOUR FAVOURITE SCENE
Choose a scene from the book that you enjoyed or found meaningful.
Then recreate it with your sibling, friend, or parent.
Be creative! You can make it funny, dramatic, emotional, or completely your own — as long as your video captures the spirit of the scene.
4. 📱 POST YOUR VIDEO
Post your video using an adult’s social media account, tag the official Dr. Omoyemi social media account, and send us the link to your entry via hello@dromoyemi.com
